ABOUT BRC SOLAR
BRC is a start-up from Karlsruhe, Germany, founded May 2018. Starting as a research project to design an optimization circuit by Prof. Dr. Rainer Merz of the Karlsruhe University Of Applied Sciences in 2016, the technology emerged which BRC Solar are currently developing for mass production.
As part of his student project while studying electrical engineering at the Karlsruhe University Of Applied Sciences, founder Timm Czarnecki designed the first prototype of the circuit BRC Solar are distributing. Building on this work he presented the first research findings at the 32nd Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition. Further publications followed, which can be found under research.
In early 2017 Timm Czarnecki’s founding wish arose and he intensively started dealing with setting up his own company. After starting alone the first half of the year, his two fellow students Richard Brace and Pascal Ruisinger joined in summer.
Richard Brace has since been responsible for the development of the products, Pascal Ruisinger, as a graduate industrial engineer, takes care of the finances and administration.
Timm Czarnecki has since been responsible for sales and production.
